The War On Hanukkah
In this video, Rabbi Fohrman continues to explore the question of why we celebrate the miracle of lights and commemorate Hanukkah through lighting the candles. Rabbi Fohrman shows that by looking at the negative space and examining both what is said and not said in the text about the holidays, one can see a subtle reference to the holiday of Hanukkah, showing the significance of the miracle of the oil in letting us know that we are not alone, and God is with us.
